Harris’ choice of Walz signals continuation of Biden Policies
A case can be made that Donald Trump is a very lucky man. The Democrats’ lawfare against him hasn’t worked out, he turned his head at just the right time to avoid a fatal bullet, and now he’s up against a “dream team” of left-wing Democrats likely to continue the progressive policies of Joe Biden.
Kamala Harris has selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, a former moderate who turned to the far left as governor.
This gives Trump a golden opportunity to contrast his economic and border policies that had America flourishing in his first term. Things went south after Biden was elected, and Trump might point out that two progressives are not likely to clean any of it up.
The team of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz should be low-hanging fruit for Trump.

Americans are clearly not happy with the economy and the border, so why would they vote for Harris and Walz?
It’s often beneficial to think as they do. You have to let your logic go, and get inside their minds. First, they don’t see far-left progressivism as a flaw.

The basic Democratic party model of tax and spend makes perfect sense to them. They don’t seem to have much stomach for such things as a powerful and well-prepared military or a secured border. They worry mostly about reproductive rights, climate change, and growing the government.
There is, however, a big and dangerous world out there.
We’ve to have a strong military and a secure border. That’s what Trump ought to talk about – how to get us back to where our armed forces are ready to defend this country with excellent training and overwhelming firepower. Note that the military services, under the Biden-Harris administration, was far more woke, and willing to pay for travel to obtain abortions. Trump will stop that.
If Trump is smart, he’ll pound the idea that Harris and Walz will continue every single Biden policy that has made Americans miserable. He should mention the doubling of the price of gasoline, Biden’s war on fossil fuels, and the number of suspected terrorists that Biden allowed in under his open border policy.
He should remind us over and over that the Harris-Walz ticket will continue those policies because, to Democrats, they’re working just fine. We might note here that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are not worried about their next meal or next tank of gas. They’re coddled political elites that suck off the government – the same one they will grow.
What would happen with the National Debt under Harris-Walz?
They’re tax and spend liberals. The debt would go up from where it is now at roughly $35,000,000,000,000. To be blunt, Republicans are not good on the issue of the debt. But Democrats are worse, and that says something. Trump may mention it occasionally, but it’s unlikely that Harris will ever go there. She shies away from controversial issues, avoids interviews, and when she explains something, she sounds like a kindergarten teacher. Can you imagine Harris trying to explain the national Debt?
And it’s the National Debt that fuels inflation and may lead to market crashes and/or recessions.
Why Walz?
Why not? He’s like her, except he used to be a moderate. As to why she (or her handlers) picked him, let’s speculate. Walz is from Minnesota (home of Ilhan Omar), a state with a heavy Islamic population. He is a far-left liberal. He locked down his state during COVID. He’s said the right things about Israel during the current war, but he also sides with Gaza. He’s not likely to be the cause of antisemitic demonstrations at the Democratic National Convention. He’s popular in his state, but it’s not a swing state, so that doesn’t get her any electoral votes that she wouldn’t have gotten otherwise.
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, on the other hand, is of Jewish ancestry and is pro-Israel all the way. He’s also more moderate, and neither of those things would appeal to Harris’ loony, left-wing base. Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly would have been an excellent choice, but he’s saner than Harris on border issues and he was tied to the Chinese spy balloon. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, like Harris, is a woman, and while that might have some identity politics appeal, Harris didn’t risk it. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has been a well-documented failure at his job, and he’s also left-wing and married to another man, which still turns off a large segment of voters. So, it’s Walz. He makes the base very happy. But he’s an easy target for Trump.
Who is this guy Walz?
Jewish Insider explains that after a long stint in the Minnesota House, he became governor and turned leftward. In fact, he’s so far out there that socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders has praised him, telling Minnesota Public Radio:
“I think you have an excellent governor who understands the needs of working families. I hope very much that the Vice President elects a running mate who will speak up and take on powerful corporate interests. I think Tim Walz is somebody who could do that.”
In case that doesn’t say it all, here’s a few things Walz has done.
He signed legislation to ensure abortion access in his state.
He signed a bill banning “conversion therapy,” and another that protects “gender affirming care” – the practice of surgically mutilating children and young adults to try to remake them into the other sex.
Walz is the guy that came up with the idea of referring to conservatives as “weird.”

Walz did little when the George Floyd riots ravaged his state. He called for “substantive police reform,” but did not call for defunding of the police. He supports the wacky idea of a two-state solution in the Middle East – a virtual impossibility when violent Arab states want to murder the Israelis.
Walz is the one that is weird.
Frankly, I think he’s to the right of Kamala Harris – but not by much.
Remember that when Harris was a U.S. senator, all the other 99 members of the Senate were to the right of her. She is a left-wing extremist with little if any core values. She changes with the political winds – as did Walz in his journey from moderate to leftist. She may be hoping that, as an added bonus, he will not outshine her and make her look bad. She may be disappointed since she is such a poor advocate for her policies. To outshine her, all Walz must do is be able to put two or three competent sentences together.
Not to worry. Kamala is known for being able to get along with – NOT! She didn’t like Biden and smeared him as a racist during a debate. She’s not going to like Walz either, no matter how the media reports on their “chemistry.” The two of them form a nightmare ticket of left-wing extremism. They will, if elected, almost certainly double down on the disastrous Biden agenda. Trump knows that. If he drops his junior high persona and attaches Harris-Walz ticket to the Biden mess that were all living in now, he wins. And big!
