Joe Biden has Always Wanted Unlimited Immigration

The Democratic Party seems to believe that if you tell a lie over and over, it will become true.  For example, they have an oft-repeated talking point that’s there’s not a shred of evidence linking Joe Biden to Hunter’s influence peddling.

But it’s another Democrat Party lie that’s starting to hurt them. 

And that’s the fiction that Joe Biden doesn’t have open border policy.  To my knowledge, Biden has always been for unlimited immigration.  You can find it in his old speeches.

And you can open your eyes and see the flood of illegals at Eagle Pass. 

But still, the White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre tells us the border is not open – as does Alejandro Mayorkas and the left-wing media.

But it IS open, and that’s just the way Joe Biden wants it.

In a speech seven years ago, Joe Biden repeated the left-wing lie of just 11 million illegal aliens in the United States before declaring that every single one of them is suitable for angel wings and a halo.

And he declared that, in his opinion, they are all already Americans.

In another speech at Netroots Nation, Biden was at it again, and his time he got heckled.

But look around you today:  somewhere between five and seven million illegals have entered the United States.

And the results?

• Eagle Pass and El Paso are overrun, but so is New York City, whose mayor, Eric Adams, says that the crisis is destroying America’s biggest city.
• Our big cities, already facing a crisis of homelessness, are now often forced to house illegals in airport concourses or even in police stations.
• America has an epidemic of fentanyl deaths, especially among the young. The drugs are said to be made in China and smuggled through Mexico.
• Some have even accused Biden of being a virtual partner to the Mexican Cartels as they sell wristbands to get their clients into America. And human smuggling is an issue that Biden avoids.

 Democrats in denial and media malfeasance.

On September 23, 2021, the libertarian Cato Institute dropped this little fictional jewel onto its website:  Biden’s Border Policy is not “Open Borders.”

Here’s the opening salvo from that piece as written by David J. Bier:

Practically since his first week in office, President Joe Biden has faced repeated criticisms from Republicans and some Democrats that his border policy amounts to “open borders.” This criticism is not simply inaccurate: it is unhinged from reality in a way that distinguishes itself from normal political hyperbole. Indeed, U.S. immigration policy is effectively closed borders, and Biden’s immigration policies and goals are largely the same as those of President Donald Trump.

On September 22, 2022, NBC News was singing from the same songbook.  Their story was entitled:  The GOP’s Myth of an ‘Open Border.’

The story, by Debu Gandhi attacked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis about his “stunt” to fly “migrants’ to Martha’s Vineyard, a liberal, uppity sanctuary for the Left.  (But not for illegal aliens.  They’re better off in Eagle Pass, apparently.)  Here’s a sample of Gandhi’s invective which purports to tell us a different story from what we see on FOX News and not much of anywhere else:

Whether or not DeSantis’ stunt is found to have violated the law, it was cruel and dehumanizing. This action — and similar ones orchestrated by other GOP governors — have also deliberately elevated the “open border” narrative, which falsely represents that unlawful immigrants are waltzing into the U.S. through a porous southern border in droves. The purported lawless and open border has been the main justification cited by DeSantis and other GOP governors, who have doubled down on their decision to transport migrants to prominent locations with Democratic elected officials — even though the GOP governors have deliberately made no attempt to coordinate these transfers.

Wait; there’s more.  Gandhi would have us believe that Joe Biden is doing whatever it takes to guard our southern border:

Contrary to the “open border” myth, U.S. borders are guarded by a vast and well-funded national security agency that has grown far larger and more powerful in recent years. Since 2001, U.S. Border Patrol has nearly doubled in capacity, from fewer than 10,000 agents to now more than 19,500. The Biden administration has requested $97.3 billion in funding for the Department of Homeland Security for fiscal year 2023, including billions of dollars for border security and interior immigration enforcement.

For its part, CNN ignored the Biden Border crisis until it became so severe that they were forced into some limited coverage.  Most of the time, border issues at CNN are relegated to the “unused story desk” where the Hunter Biden story also resides.

Thank God for the Heritage Foundation.

 In a July 20, 2021, post, the Washington-based conservative think tank published a story entitled:   Border Crisis Is No Accident. It’s Biden Making Good on Campaign Promises.  Tim Murtaugh explained that Biden’s reckless policy has turned “catch and release” into “catch and misplace.” 

He wrote about record-setting crossings, arrests, and releases without court dates.  Indeed, Biden’s border crisis is something he’s long dreamed of unleashing:

All of this puts the lie to Biden’s claims that the surge at the border is something that happens “every single, solitary year.” Just as ludicrous was White House press secretary Jen Psaki’s attempt to blame former President Donald Trump for the massive increase in illegal border crossings. The fact is that Biden campaigned for president promising an array of enticements for people to break our laws to enter this country. He promised amnesty for those already here, taxpayer-provided health care, work permits, support for sanctuary cities, and a cessation of deportations.

 So don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining. 

I’m just smart enough to see that the Hunter Biden laptop is real and is full of evidence.  There’s a ton more than just a “shred” connecting Joe to the family business of selling influence.

I can see with my own eyes that the dire warnings of climate change have yet to meet any of the left’s breathless deadlines.

And I damn sure can see what’s happening at the border.

It is a fact that Joe Biden has always wanted unlimited immigration.  Furthermore, he thinks that when illegals make it into the country, they are Americans (his words).  And Americans have the right to vote.

The CATO Institute and NBC News are lying to us, and CNN is guilty by refusing to cover stories that might cast Biden in a bad light.  Forget about them.  They’re not worth your time.  America is being invaded, and it’s happening because Joe Biden wants it to happen.  The fact that the Democrats and the media lie about it constantly does not change that fact.
