I have been reviewing the Belton Texas School District check register from January 2021 to January 2022 since they are opting for a new school bond this year. I find it amazing that they spend thousands of dollars on Amazon each month, thousands of dollars at a flower shop in Austin and over 9k from Schopffs and 4k Millers BBQ in Belton. The list goes on and on, I am not sure if these were reimbursed expenses, but one thing is for sure, I do not want to be handed the bill for BBQ dinners and flowers and not be invited. School districts are out of control, they spend money with no regard for the taxpayer then just come and do the ole bond shakedown for more. How simple, they need to be stopped NOW.
