Bloomberg is reporting that Karl Rove is using Ben Carson to take out Donald Trump by hooking up Carson with very rich people who don’t like Trump. If Carson takes the bait, he will be beholden – to some degree – to Rove. That should cause conservatives to sour on him. Assuredly, Rove doesn’t want to see Carson secure the nomination. This is far more about actively working to ensure Trump does NOT secure it.

Will Carson owe Rove?

Will Carson owe Rove?

You can also bet that if push came to shove, Rove would rather see Carson over Trump – and likely even Hillary – but that’s not what this is about.

If you were to prioritize Karl Rove’s preference for a presidential nominee, it’s not hard to figure out. His first choice would be someone with a vested interest in protecting the Bush family. His second choice would be someone who can be controlled into doing so with donor dollars that Rove has traditionally overseen. His absolute last choice would be someone who cannot be controlled – like Trump.

In fact, his behavior is that of someone who would prefer a Democrat like Hillary, who has a vested interest in protecting the Bush family because doing so helps to protect the Clintons. First, take a look at who Rove thinks is most likely to secure the Republican nomination, despite none of them being in the current hunt:

  1. Jeb Bush
  2. Marco Rubio
  3. Chris Christie

All three of those candidates have either ignored or run interference for Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of the U.S., which really began in earnest during the first Bush administration, after the group helped fight the Soviets in Afghanistan. Bill Clinton further opened the gates and George W. kept up the practice, embracing Muslim Brotherhood leaders both before and after 9/11.

Of course, Rove mentions none of this but more on that after the video:

Jeb! is clearly Rove’s first choice because, like his brother and father, Jeb! has a vested and very personal interest in keeping the family’s dealings with suit-and-tie wearing, stealth Muslim Brotherhood jihadists secret. In fact, when Jeb! was Governor of Florida, he played extremely nice with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a Muslim Brotherhood front group. Here is a Letter Jeb! wrote to the group in 2006. In it, he lauded the group’s contributions to ‘civil rights and freedom of religion’.

As for Rubio, he’s now becoming the establishment frontrunner, which indicates that he too is beholden to establishment interests. The degree to which he knows the truth would be “trumped” by pressures for him to help suppress it. One example came in 2012, when Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) sent a letter to the State Department Inspector General (IG) – even cc’ing Hillary – in which she inquired about the Muslim Brotherhood background of close Hillary aide Huma Abedin.

Rubio threw Bachmann under the bus and defended Huma. Here is the audio:

In 2012, the establishment choice was Romney, whom Rubio greatly helped by going after Newt during the Florida primaries when the former Speaker had delivered a rout in South Carolina. Romney ignored Brotherhood infiltration as well. He was asked about Huma one time and quickly punted on the issue:

As for Rove’s third preference, Chris Christie, well he was appointed by George W. Bush as a U.S. Attorney in New Jersey and has since amassed a Muslim Brotherhood problem of his own. In addition to appointing a Muslim with a more than questionable history of defending Muslims with nefarious connections to a Superior Court judgeship, Christie has embraced several Muslim Brotherhood-connected individuals. One such individual is Imam Mohammed Qatanani, who has irrefutable connections to Hamas – a Muslim Brotherhood front.

In the summer of 2012, Governor Christie held an Iftar dinner at the Governor’s mansion and praised Qatanani, who was in attendance. There is no longer any video of the event but here is one audio clip:

Here is Christie meeting with – among others – an Imam with connections to the Muslim Brotherhood:

With all of that as a backdrop, how about Bloomberg’s report about what Rove is doing?

Republican strategist Karl Rove helped set up a meeting between top fundraisers for Ben Carson and casino mogul Steve Wynn.

Rove confirmed to Bloomberg Politics that he acted as the go-between for the Carson camp and Wynn, a sometimes business competitor of Donald Trump, the rival Carson has been batting all fall for the Republican nomination.

“I introduced them but I don’t know anything further about that,” said Rove, who added that he did not attend the meeting.

Are we to believe Rove has no other motive? Right. By introducing Carson to said donors, he can kill two birds with one stone. In addition to taking out Trump, Rove knows Carson would owe him if he secured the nomination. One of those favors would undoubtedly be tamping down on the anti-Muslim rhetoric.
