Donald Trump is worth billions. Elizabeth Warren is worth just a few million – but her next meal is not in doubt. Warren, as you’ll recall, is part of the “you didn’t build that” mentality that holds that you owe your success to somebody else.

She likes to go after Trump as a self-centered capitalist.

In Cincinnati, Hillary rolled her out in an obvious audition for the vice presidential slot. Warren was a bulldog. She called Trump “…a small, insecure moneygrubber…” She never mentioned her own wealth.  [Or the fact that Hillary Clinton is a major league moneygrubber.]

TIME was when she was Hillary's rival -- not anymore.

TIME was when she was Hillary’s rival — not anymore.

According to her annual disclosure as a U.S. Senator, Warren is worth up to $10- million. She and her husband own a house valued at $1.9 million. She has a senate salary of $174,000. She recently got a book advance in the amount of $525,000.

In her case, she didn’t build that wealth. She got it through cushy contracts from teaching bankruptcy law at Harvard.

Video: Published on May 25, 2016 – Sen. Elizabeth Warren echoed Hillary Clinton’s attacks against Donald Trump for comments he made two years before the 2008 financial crisis.

The Warren/Mann duo -- 2 Harvard law professors who never built anything

Mr. and Mrs. Warren –er, Mann — are both elite academics.

The woman who says “…you didn’t build that…” has never built or made anything and has (to my knowledge), never created a job. Yet, if you count her holdings, bank accounts, retirement funds, book advances, and guarantees, the Warren/Manns are probably over the $12-million mark and that puts them in the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans.

She lives the life of a coddled professor in a three-story Victorian mansion in Cambridge with her husband Bruce Mann, who is a law professor at Harvard. She is a stereotypical left-wing academic who exists in a liberal bubble.

In 2009, the Warrens (or the Manns – you decide) brought in $981,000 and in 2010, they earned $955,000 according to their tax returns. Her Harvard salary was listed as $430,000. In 2011, the couple brought in $616,000.

Warren likes to live debt-free and she lists no liabilities. If that’s accurate, the mansion, worth almost $2 million, is paid for and is part of her vast wealth.

According to CNNMoney, most of Warren-Mann’s fortune is in mutual funds and retirement accounts through their university jobs. Published accounts say she and her husband each have a minimum of $1 million in accounts that provide three guarantees: First, their principal is fully protected. Second, they have a minimum interest rate. Third, they will receive an income stream for life. All this for teaching bankruptcy law and general law at Harvard.

And yet she rails against Donald Trump – and others – who actually do build things like skyscrapers and casinos and golf courses and who hire people and pay wages.
