This is precisely what President Obama and the Democrats have been hoping for –that Obamacare would become too entrenched to abolish.

We may have arrived at that point. The Washington Post has a story that some Republican candidates are on the retreat, suggesting that they would tweak some aspects of the law. But they would NOT kill it outright. Part of this movement comes from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which is running ads suggesting that its favorite candidates will “fix” Obamacare. You wonder if the politicos working at the U.S. Chamber have seen the cartoon of an iceberg in the sea. The tip of the iceberg is labeled “VA.” The major part of the iceberg – not seen – is labeled “Obamacare.” That just about says it all. The Tea Party will have to stand up and get Republicans back on the right side of this issue – before it’s too late.
