With the Russia-mania that’s mostly directed at Mr. Trump, one thing has always amazed me. The constant barrage of negative stories we see in the major feature papers and in the endless CNN panels that fail to mention the great shape the country finds itself in after a year of Trumpism.

CNN can do an entire primetime on Trump’s comment on shutting the government down — but can’t work in positive news about employment, taxes, or ISIS.

One thing we are told is that Trump’s approval ratings are historically low and therefore, the American people must hate him as much as CNN does.

Now we discover that Mr. Trump’s approval rating is far from being out of sync with past presidents. In fact as of this writing, he is four points ahead of where President Obama was at this point in his presidency. The county, and Trump, are just fine.

Look at what Trump has to deal with.

Since the President took office, he’s had to deal with the Mueller investigation, not knowing what Mueller might dig up or what perjury trap he might fall into. (CNN’s rotund panelist Jeffrey Toobin says, just tell the truth and there’s no such thing as a perjury trap. Toobin is full of cr*p and we can all hope that, someday, a special counsel investigates him.)

A few other things Trump faces on a day-to-day basis.

Spying by the Obama administration
A lackluster economy (that he seems to have fixed)
A foreign policy disaster (that he seems to have fixed)
A radical left-wing media that reports negative hit pieces 90% of the time

But look at the list of things that are far better under Trump than under Obama.

• Employment is up.
• Salaries are starting to improve.
Unemployment applications are at a 45-year low.
Apple is bringing billions back to America.
• Manufacturing is coming back.
• ISIS has been beaten back.
Even King Jong Un seems to fear Trump.
• Some reports say illegal border crossings are down.

In short – the Obama MORASS has turn into TRUMPTIMISM.

Trumptimism is a Trump-induced optimism that has made people believe that the President can make American great again. But you see little of this in the Mainstream, Anti-Trump Media. In fact, the most positive stories are headlined with a negative bent and otherwise buried or ignored.

CNN has become a leader of the “Resistance” with nightly panels that focus on some negative aspect of Trump’s presidency, or some off-hand comment Trump made, or refutations of stories being presented on FOX News that might go against the narrative.

Just imagine what Trump’s approval ratings would be if the media gave him any kind of a fair shot.

But they don’t.

And still, as of this writing, Rasmussen Daily Reports shows Trump with a 48 percent approval rating. That means 48 percent of likely voters approved of Mr. Trump’s job performance while 51 percent disapprove. According to the survey, 34 percent strongly approve of Trump’s performance and 42 percent who strongly disapprove. (Look at the results listed above, and go figure. But then, the Left lives to be miserable.)

Back on February 7, 2010, Obama had an approval rating of 44 percent with 56 percent disapproval. Yet, CNN tells us that Trump’s low ratings will precipitate a bloodbath for Republicans in the midterms.

Maybe so, but maybe not.

The list of Trump’s accomplishments far outweighs what Obama did in his entire 8 years. Obama was a big-government, tax-and-spend regulator who presided over 8 years of a declining country. Trump is well on his way to MAGA after just a year in office—and with the deck stacked against him.

There is reason to be trumptimisic. The country is doing fine. And so is President Trump.
