They did it in 2013, and now they’ve done it again.

All Americans ought to be able to stand on their own two feet by now.

To parody liberalism, the Young Conservatives were selling cookies based on race. Asian males paid the most at $1.50. White males paid $1. Females paid slightly less depending on skin color. Cookies for American Indians were at no charge.

Of course, there were protests from outraged liberals.

But this is how liberals treat the real world. They like to base everything – like college admissions — on skin color. A bake sale based on skin color is a perfect way to show the absurdity.

Look who’s mad! UT’s Vice-President for Diversity and Community Engagement!

Gregory J. Vincent -- Diversity Czar

Gregory J. Vincent — Diversity Czar

Excuse me while I roll on the floor laughing. Gregory J. Vincent is mad about prices set by skin color and ethnicity? That type of thing is what his job is all about. We have long made fun of “diversity czars” in this space as being meaningless positions based on liberal guilt or emotion or whatever. But the Diversity Czar at UT did not like his career to be made fun of.

Using a word from Hillary Clinton’s vocabulary, he called the bake sale: “Deplorable.” Go ahead and laugh. I did. He went on, speaking on behalf of the University:

“…focusing our attention on the provocative nature of the YCT’s actions ignores a much more important issue: They create an environment of exclusion and disrespect among our students, faculty, and staff.”

“Exclusion” is a favorite word of diversity czars. Meanwhile UT discriminates in admissions on the basis of race (which is quite exclusionary) and has the stamp of approval from the Supreme Court. That why we need bake sales to point our what High Court judges and Czar Vincent do not understand. If I can find a link to the workings of the liberal mind, I will post it here.

Meanwhile, I’m thinking of applying for Czar Vincent’s job should it come open.

But wait! I’m a white male. I cannot apply for his job. It is reserved for someone more diverse. To me, that creates an environment of exclusion. At least I can buy a cookie for fifty cents less than an Asian male.
