Trump standing with Senators Tom Cotton and David Perdue, touting the RAISE Act

Even though the RAISE (Reforming American Immigration for Strong Employment) Act was recreated earlier this year it was just this past week touted by President Trump as a significant tool to stop illegal immigration. Our boarders have been hemorrhaging illegals for decades while the federal government turned a blind eye to the problem.

The massive financial burden created by inept politicians was justified by their quest to retain power, manipulate their voter base and continue to build a huge base of people totally dependent on government handouts.

The RAISE ACT seeks to return the process of immigration to some semblance of sanity and control. Its primary objective is to limit the number and quality of people allowed to enter the country within a specified timeframe (any rational person might understand this). The effort encourages personal responsibility, accountability and optimum assimilation while protecting the American worker and taxpayer.

Now, what part of that can’t the career politicians, liberal media and lifetime government dependents understand?

Here are some interesting facts related to the chain migration problem created and supported by out-of-touch bureaucrats that run this country.

In Dallas, there is a hospital known as Parkland Memorial Hospital. This one hospital is home to the second busiest maternity ward in the country with almost 16,000 new babies arriving each year (that’s almost 44 per day—every day). A recent patient survey indicated that 70 percent of the women who gave birth at Parkland were illegal immigrants. That’s 11,200 anchor babies born every year in just in one hospital.

Big business for the hospital, right? However that doesn’t mean they should receive better care than everyday, middle-class American citizens. But at Parkland Hospital, they do. Parkland Memorial Hospital has nine prenatal clinics. NINE. Guess who is paying for this? It seems Medicaid kicked in $34.5 million, Dallas County taxpayers kicked in $31.3 million and the feds tossed in another $9.5 million.

Did I mention this is just ONE HOSPITAL?

So how long has this been going on? What are the long-term effects? Well, one mother said she was born at Parkland in 1986, shortly after her mother entered the US illegally. She’s keeping the practice in the family because now, the daughter is having her own children there as well. Why not? Technically, she’s an American citizen.

These women receive free prenatal care including medication, nutrition, birthing classes and child care classes. They also get freebies such as car seats, bottles, diapers and formula. Most of these things are available to American citizens as well but only for low-income applicants and even then, the red tape involved is almost insurmountable.

As it exists now, these illegal aliens do not have to provide any sort of verifiable identification – no proof of income. An American citizen would have to provide a social security number which would reveal their annual income. Illegal immigrants need only claim to be poor and the hospital must take them at their word.

Parkland Hospital provides incentives in the form of extra pay for applicants who speak Spanish. Additionally, medical students at the University of Texas Southwestern for which Parkland Hospital is the training facility, will now have a Spanish language requirement added to their already jam-packed curriculum. No other school in the country boasts such a ridiculous multi-semester (multicultural) requirement. This is counter to the initiatives of the RAISE ACT.

Is there any wonder why the healthcare system is broke and broken? Of course the hospitals, the pharmaceutical companies, and the politicians have a vested interest in the chain of dependent illegals who scam the stupid taxpayer. Collectively, these illegals are a cash cow.

We don’t need immigration reform, we need to stop the illegal immigration industry that is destroying our country!!! If your Senator or Representative doesn’t support this legislation they need to be voted out of office.
