This is quite an admission from the University of Texas “Journalism Professor” who believes we live in a patriarchal society in which men exert far too much control. It comes in the wake of daily sexual harassment revelations, and a rethinking of the legacy of former President Bill Clinton.

Jensen from the UT website

Jensen, though, is critical of virtually ALL men, which makes him something of a self-loathing individual.

He writes in the Dallas Morning News that society should let go of a comforting illusion: that there is “some bright line between men who rape and men who don’t rape.” He suggests a radical feminist analysis of men’s violence against women.

I always wonder two things about Jensen. First, does he teach this garbage in his journalism classes? And second, does the UT administration ever think about getting rid of this guy? If not, why don’t they?

Jensen’s shtick is wearing thin.

For some reason, the Dallas Morning News has deemed him print-worthy. They run his columns as if they make perfect sense. But they are more like the ramblings of a madman. Consider:

On June 25, 2017, Jensen wrote a column about how unjust the free market system is. He suggested that we must “transcend the “pathology of capitalism” and that the idea that the United States is an exceptional country is a “dangerous delusion.”

On August 22, 2017, this nutcase submitted that the United States “will never transcend white supremacy.”

He made it clear that he believes the success of the U.S. is based on the genocide of indigenous people and of African slavery with the result being millions dead, millions impoverished, and entire cultures ravaged.

On November 9, 2017, Jensen published his screed about men and rape and the so-called patriarchal society. In this far left column, Jensen posits that there are categories of rape that aren’t really rape – but might as well be rape.

• Men who do not rape but would be willing to rape if they were sure they would not be punished.
• Men who do not rape but will not intervene when another man rapes.
• Men who do not rape but buy sex from women and believe that payment gives them the right to do as they please.
• Men who do not rape but are sexually stimulated by pornography featuring women in situations that depict rape-like acts.
• Men who do not rape but find the idea of rape sexually arousing.
• Men who do not rape but whose sexual arousal depends on feeling dominant and having power over a woman.

So, based on these “categories,” Jensen seems to conclude that there isn’t much, if any, difference between men who rape and men who don’t.

TIME “Beyond He or She”

Professor Jensen needs psychological help.

It’s easy to just dismiss him as an academic kook, but it’s apparent that this man should not be teaching anywhere – much less at major university.

His arguments are so full of holes that you could drive a 747 through them. For example, MOST men don’t rape women or even think about it.

And, of course, like today’s liberals, he fails to recognize biological differences in the sexes.

Our so-called patriarchal society is based on millennia of social norms in which the male hunts and gathers and the female bears children and nurtures them. Leftists like Jensen despise this part of our culture.

As for the Dallas Morning News, and why it publishes Jensen, who can say? Who can say why the University of Texas keeps him on the payroll?

Tenure or no tenure, the University of Colorado was finally able to rid themselves of a similar embarrassment named Ward Churchill.

If there is a silver lining to all this, it is that Jensen is arrogant enough to speak his mind and put it in print.

I don’t give a flip how many times the Dallas Morning News publishes him. That’s their business and if costs them a few subscriptions, that’s fine and dandy. But he teaches at our state’s flagship university, and that’s not acceptable. If you wonder why so many college students are snowflakes, or why they graduate as Marxists or Communists– Robert Jensen is one of the reasons.
